Automtoive Sales manager

- Develop new business opportunties with New customers in the automotive industry
- Develop new business plan and execute to key accounts and prospects
- Work with engineers in Japan, China and Mexico to help them understand customer requirements and create design solutions
- Review and understand customer and company drawings relating to structure and building of coil products
- Work with the engineering team provide needed customer support
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competitor
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, and price schedules
- Coordinate commercial, technical, and quality issues related to new projects and production parts
- Managing customer relationships with purchasing, quality , advanced engineering, and factories
- Identify target customers and applications in Automotive Industry
- Job Requirements
- 5 years experience in calling on customers direct and tier one customers
- College Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Extensive travel required including sitting for long periods on flights including China and Japan
- Evening conference calls with Asia to resolve issues

Sales Account Manager

- Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for forecasting and committing to achieve a sales target for assigned accounts and geographical territory.
- Oversees all communication with key and regional accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts through product marketing organization.
- Finds and develops opportunities in the assigned territory. Understands customer organization of key accounts including developing relationships with key purchasing and engineering teams.
- Manages contract negotiations with key accounts, and assists accounting to collect on dilinquent accounts.
- Manage one or more sales representatives or distributors by setting expectations towards the goal of growing sales in their defined territory. Train, develop and support their sales staff, evaluate their performance and assist with commission allocations.
- Assist Regional Manager and GM to plan, organize, and implement sales programs for the organization. Responsible for achieving overall sales objectives. Develop forecasts and reports on product sales and inform marketing of pricing trends.
- Determine customer sample requirements, order and arrange the supply of same to customer. Follow up with customer to determine satisfaction with products and services. Relay this information to Division Leaders.
- Submits proper documentation for sales commissions and design wins. Tracks design wins going overseas and is responsible for pursuing commissions due from other regions.
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and price quotations for customers. Help maintain database of customer quotations. Participate in price negotiation meetings with customers as needed.
- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all staff members and customers. Answer incoming phone calls, promptly respond to customer inquiries, and provide courteous customer service to all of Sumida’s clients.
- Job Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in technical environment.
- Candidate must be able and willing to travel extensively including sitting for long periods on flights including China and Japan.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must present a professional appearance and able to communicate effectively with customers.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, specification sheets, profit and loss statements and technical documents.
- Must be able to effectively present information clearly, professionally and accurately to top management, customers and reprersentatives
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, margins, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- PCs and various software applications. Heavy telephone usage.
- College Degree or equivalent experience required.
