SUMIDA CORPORATION released the small metal winding inductors made of metal core
(Fe-Si). It performs better saturation characteristics comparing than one of ferrite core.
Production process is that each coil is produced by cutting from panel shaped connected
multiple coils. So it has an advantage of product downsizing and cost reduction. Metal core
has an effect of preventing core noise phenomenon.
