Low-Profile High Current Power Inductor: CDEP15D90/T150

Sumida has developed a low-profile high current power inductor CDEP15D90/T150 for use in automotive LED headlights. Recently, headlights have been diversified and some of them are equipped with ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam) and AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) which requires a higher current more than ever. Complying with the automotive reliability criteria, AEC-Q200, this inductor is so strongly structured that its core and wire could withstand a voltage of up to DC120V.

* Please note that when using the product while applying current with audio-frequency (AF) signals
may results in audible noises due to magnetostriction. Also, in order to avoid an audible noise
problem, operating with non-AF signals would be recommended. The noise amplify depending
on the coil mount area on the PCB.
